Cristiano Ronaldo may have just anointed Marcus Rashford as the man he would love to see replace him at Manchester United after the club had failed countless times to fill the shoes of the five time Balon d’Or winner since he left for Real Madrid for a then world record fee.
Ronaldo’s gesture of a special red gift to the young England international could be taken as one of such indications.
The Madrid star who has been banging in goals since the turn of the year continued his goal scoring heroics in the Champions League with a stunning brace, including an absolutely outrageous overhead kick which even broke out an applause from the Juventus faithfuls.
He added to his tally with another strike in the La Liga against cross-town rivals, Atletico on Sunday in the derby draw.
And he’s not just brilliant on the field, but also off the field following his gesture to Rashford.
The England starlet uploaded an image on Instagram, revealing the gift received from Ronaldo.
The design has been named the ‘Portugal Patchwork’.
