Manchester United legend, Ryan Giggs has said the Red Devils’ firepower will prove to be the difference in Saturday’s FA Cup final against Chelsea.
In the last opportunity to end the campaign with a piece of silverware for both sides, two of the Premier League’s top six clash at Wembley.
For Jose Mourinho, a second placed finish and the FA Cup will represent a successful campaign, while the Blues are looking to avenge last season’s defeat in the final at the hands of London rivals Arsenal.
Clashes between the two sides this season have been settled by the odd goal but with so much at stake in the final, many will be expecting an open feel to the game.
On one side United can call upon the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial, while the west London have Eden Hazard, Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata at their disposal.
Despite being the lowest scorers in the top four this term, Giggs has backed United’s attacking players to outshine Chelsea’s.
“It is an important day because coming second in the Premier League and winning the FA Cup is a successful season,” the Wales manager told MUTV.
