Chelsea midfielder, Cesc Fabregas has admitted, rather subtly, that his former Barcelona teammate, Lionel Messi is impossible to shut out.
Fabregas, however, disclosed him and his Chelsea teammates are ready to do all they can to trouble Messi, make him uncomfortable and put him in difficult positions throughout the Champions League round of 16 second leg tie between the Blues and Barcelona at Camp Nou on Wednesday.
The 30-year-old Spanish midfielder who is playing against his former club, Barcelona, at Camp Nou for the second time said he’s in two minds as to whether he will celebrate scoring against Barcelona on Wednesday night.
He played against Barcelona for Arsenal at the same stage in the Champions League during the 2010/2011 campaign and was at fault for the opening goal on the night as he conceded possession in a dangerous area and allowed Andres Iniesta to play in Lionel Messi to level the score on aggregate.
And injury free Fabregas is in line to start against his former club in the second leg this week and has discussed the prospect of finding the back of the net.
